The Commonwealth Foundation with the Commonwealth Association for Public Administration and Management (CAPAM) is consulting with a group of civil society practitioners and policy makers from around the Commonwealth to consider the key issues around effective partnerships between the two actors.
The group will take part in a month-long process, which started on November 8, dedicated to exploring this important topic in the lead up to the Commonwealth People’s Forum in 2011. The initiative will inform strategic partnership building and raise the profile of CSO-policy maker collaborations across the Commonwealth. The month-long closed online discussion will be based on four cases studies, introduced and chaired by eminent practitioners from civil society.
A summary of key issues and recommendation from the discussions will be made available prior to the start of the series of regional consultations in advance of the Commonwealth People’s Forum in Perth, Australia next year.
