We organise a variety of events throughout the year. Many of these are open to the public.
Others such as specialist seminars and workshops are restricted to professionals, civil society organisations, government officials or High Commissioners.
The high point of our calendar is the annual Commonwealth Lecture. This keynote address by an internationally renowned public figure is designed to stimulate intellectual debate about the 54-member association and its role in world affairs.
Past speakers have included former UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan, ex-President of Nigeria Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, former World Bank President James Wolfensohn, and ex-hostage and faith leader Terry Waite.
