Reporting

Any changes to reporting requirements for responsive grant applications for the cycle ending 31 January 2012, will be communicated to successful applicants once the grants have been approved.

There will be no changes to reporting requirements for grants that have already been approved: All successful applicants are expected to submit a short report within six weeks of the end of the activity as a condition of grant funding. These reports help us to better understand issues that may have been explored as part of the activity, and help to inform our own programme work.

The recipient must account for the grant and show that it has been spent in line with what was agreed. Where funding is provided to support participation in an event, the reporting should focus on the roles sponsored participants played in the activity and the benefits they obtained.

As part of the reporting, we ask for personal reflections from participants revealing the benefits of the activities to themselves. We also ask for plans for follow-up activities and future collaboration, particularly at national level. Any photos, newspaper articles or publicity material should also be included.
