Victoria League for Commonwealth Friendship
The Victoria League for Commonwealth Friendship was founded in 1901 to promote friendship and understanding among the peoples of the Commonwealth. The aim of the League is to welcome and help all members and visitors from every part of the Commonwealth?in particular, to give such visitors to the United Kingdom chances of meeting British people and to offer them a wide variety of invitations and opportunities during their stay, whether their purpose is study, business or pleasure. The League also provides students' accommodation in London at reasonable rates.
