The Commonwealth Nurses Federation founded in 1973, is a federation of national nurses' associations in Commonwealth countries. It is a credible, democratic and participatory organisation. It is involved in the promotion of high standards of professional practice.
Its objectives are: to influence health policy throughout the Commonwealth; to develop nursing networks; to enhance nursing education; to improve nursing standards and competence; and to strengthen nursing leadership.
