Ministerial Meetings

Ministerial meetings are a feature of the Commonwealth System. They, along with the biennial Heads of Government Meetings, seek to build consensus on key issues and concerns of member states.Since the late nineties, there has been a gradual trend towards greater civil society participation in Commonwealth Heads of Government and Ministerial Meetings. Both the Tourism Ministerial Meeting and the Youth Ministerial Meeting are captured under the umbrella of the Culture and Diversity Programme.
